This is how I want you to experience Cape Town. Enjoy my (mostly African) contemporary art and crafts made by locals in and around the area. Read some of my books and make yourself at home. I want you to feel like it’s your home away from home :) The entrance to the apartment is on street level with and entrance foyer/ corridor before taking the beautiful old renovated staircase to the first floor. This first level of the house is accessible for exclusive guests use. I give my guests space but am available when needed. Restaurants and shops are close by, while the Central Business District and the V&A Waterfront are a long walk or short drive away, and Clifton Beach not much further. Both bedrooms lead to balconies, the views are spectacular. We are connected to a 24 hour security service that will escort you into the apartment if you are coming home late or alone. The whole apartment is available. Open plan lounge dining kitchen and two en-suite bathrooms, entry area and deck. I am an artist, so my studio (opposite to apartment entry) will be locked as I will use it as a storeroom. Located just a few kilometers west of Cape Town CBD, Fresnaye is one of the city's most affluent neighborhoods. The loft is just a short stroll from high-end Sea Point eateries. Head to Saunders’ Rock Tidal Pool on hot days for a refreshing dip. Unfortunately we only have street parking, but we are 100m from the MyCiti bus stop and we have found that most guests find using Uber, most convenient. If you prefer a personalized tour guide or shuttle service, we can organize that as well. Please note there will be extra outdoor furniture added to deck before your stay. Large sliding doors disappear into the walls creating an unimpeded indoor/outdoor flow while the elevated position protects your privacy. The open plan bathroom faces onto an enclosed secret garden which includes a frame-less glass shower. The unit has a fully equipped kitchenette and is serviced daily except weekends and public holidays.
