Located on the banks of the Derwent it's exceptionally placed to walk by the river to Derby cathedral. Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. The cottage is self contained, with new facilities and open plan living. The stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling with 3 sky light windows create a light spacious feeling.On evenings to enjoy being cosy, there is a electric log burner while you relax.

Laburnum Lodge at Mercia Marina

Our lodge is located in a quiet area of the Marina (a secure gated community) nestled amongst the immaculately manicured planting but within walking distance of places to eat. Basque all day in the sunshine from our huge south-facing wrap-around deck or walk down to the Boardwalk for a drink whilst watching the sun set. The lodge has no steps & wide doors. Twin or double sleeping options available in bed 2 and the enclosed decking keeps pets & kids safe. Perfect family accommodation.
