Our peaceful country escape is ready! Modern 1 bedroom cottage perfectly positioned to enjoy the view over the farm. Huge deck space, both covered and open, with bbq, propane firepit and 1 of the best spots to enjoy the serenity! Less than 5 minutes drive from downtown Courtenay, mountain bike trails to Comox Lake, Mount Washington Alpine Resort is 30 min drive, several golf courses with Crown Isle being 15 min away. Plenty of fresh or saltwater fishing to choose from so don’t forget the rod!

The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Kick back and relax in a calm, stylish retreat. Biking, rivers, ocean, skiing & hiking are minutes away! Enjoy a park-like private guest house on a quiet no-thru road away from the hustle and bustle. You will be 10 minutes from Courtenay or the base of Mt. Washington in a central place in the beautiful Comox Valley. For a day of adventures, head to Campbell River, Cumberland or Comox. Say good morning to the friendly horse and pony, Cam & Cody while you enjoy your morning coffee on the patio.

We have Nigerian Dwarf Goats to cuddle with and many free-range chickens. We offer farm tours and fresh coffee. Lots to explore in the area and a quick drive to the beach or old growth forest. Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.
