Bookings are only offered with a guided boat taxi ride from Deep Cove, round trip included per booking. Once at Fernleecove the property offers a natural setting to enjoy the ocean & woods from a comfortable cabin hideaway.

This renovated 3-bedroom cottage in Cultus Lake is owned by longtime friends Craig and James. Welcome to the Vedder River Retreat! We’re 15 min away from Cultus Lake, 25 min away from Chilliwack lake and nestled amongst endless hiking, fishing and outdoor adventures that await you! Have a fire during campfire season or kick back beside the creek right outside the patio door and enjoy the sounds of the birds and the river! Our cabin is geared towards couples, but we do have a pull out couch to accommodate small families as well! We look forward to hosting you!

In these rather adventurous times in our world, we invite you to watch the sun set early over the mountain and feel the cool breeze sweeping down its steep face. Go to sleep to the sound of a creek roaring in the distance, wake up to the sound of beautiful birds. Have a fire, go for a hike through nearby teapot hill. Cozy Log Cabin

Our log home was built to replicate historical buildings in BC with a roof line borrowed from Quebec. The main floor is an open concept with a kitchen, dining area and living room. Bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. I have a clawfoot bathtub but do not have a shower. The back yard is large and fenced for kids and a dog to enjoy. Bring your own wood if you want to use the fire pit. Bring pods if you want to use the Keurig or Nespresso.
