House of Poetry – Log House by the Lake

A quiet log house by the lake surrounded by forest in Sartai Regional Park. The house is full of books, photo albums and vintage music records. Outside there is a boat, large terrace overlooking the lake, with a sofa and dining table. The kitchen and one bedroom are on the ground floor, and the second bedroom is upstairs. A traditional wood-fired sauna can be rented if you’d like to enjoy a proper Lithuanian sauna during your stay. Perfect for peaceful family time or a romantic stay for two.

The host is rider himself and can assist with all motorcyclist needs from A to Z, starting with local must-see places till basic equipment & service. The speedway stadium is in walking distance if you come to the competition in Daugavpils. Sleeping on 2 double beds, can arrange mattresses if necessarry.

The centre of Zarasai is about 3 km from house, you can go there on bike path. In the house are 2 bedrooms with double beds,in the little second flor are 2 mattresses for children.

The two-bedroom apartment is in a private house with a fireplace. In heating season we stoke the fireplace before guests arrive, but all the following days must be heated by yourself. We provide all necessary for the kindling fireplace in the next staying days. The fireplace kindles easily and keeps heat for a long time. This will not affect your comfort but will make cozy and romantic your stay. I will send you all the necessary instructions on how to stoke the fireplace.

There are 2 separate bedrooms (2 double beds) , 2 living rooms (3 single beds), fireplace, large hall, balcony, 2 bathrooms (shower+jacuzzi). Free private parking is available. Fully equipped spacious kitchen (oven, microwave, dishes, fridge). Bathroom on each floor. Possible to place 7 guests. Placing more then 7 guests is discussible.
