The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Spacious studio accommodation with a king sized bed in a recessed area, walk in shower and toilet, full kitchen facilities, wood burning stove, TV and Wi-Fi. There is an outside seating area and private parking.

Dalby Family Cottage, Bickley Rigg Farm

Nestled in a serene, private valley, our 150-year-old cow barn has been meticulously transformed into a charming retreat. It is dog friendly (£10 per dog per night) with a hot tub and garden including outdoor seating and a train viewing area right bedside the NYMR heritage railway. The cottage lies at the foot of the North York Moors and has many footpaths and bridleways close by for walkers and cyclists. The cottage sleeps up to 4 adults and has everything you need for a comfortable stay

Outside is a part-walled, sandstone patio with table and chairs and a large field which you are welcome to access.

Hilda Cottage is a 17th Century dwelling. The front door enters to the living area, downstairs is the kitchen. Upstairs is a double bedroom (WC ensuite) with sea views, and main bathroom, the top floor is the loft bedroom (double & single bed) and sea views! This cottage, in the village of Wrelton near Pickering, was a 19th century blacksmith's forge and has now been renovated into a delightful living space complete with fully-equipped kitchen, large living room area, bathroom with walk-in shower and a cosy bedroom located on a mezzanine floor which is reached via a spiral staircase. The Old Forge offers a great location for a relaxing stay in beautiful North Yorkshire.
