Please note: This space does NOT have a working shower in the winter months and toilet is an incineration toilet (directions on use upon arrival) located in the outhouse mere steps away. It is walking distance to the shops of Main Street and our beloved cafés as well as a grocery store. Built in 1940, it is a house of many stories.

Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable.
