Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food; or try some home raised, rare breed pork over the firepit grill, then a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.

The detached Lake House is set in 11 acres. Ravensworth is an enchanting village with many of the houses dating from the 17th century. The village is defined by its green, and ancient ruined castle, only a few miles from the pretty towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle .
