This cosy apartment is a short walk from ballyhaise village and 6km from cavan town. There is a regular bus into cavan town. It is a perfect place to stay when exploring tourist attractions in the Midlands or going to a wedding in one of Cavans hotels or just for a quiet break The self contained apartment is fully stocked with all kitchen essentials needed for a self-catering break The hosts are happy to answer any questions about the apartment or the local area. This is a traditional farmhouse Tourist beauty spot steeped in heritage and history . Very popular for a relaxing break , local weddings , entertainment, walking ,cycling or work related duties . 1 hour from Dublin via car or bus .8 mins drive to Cabra Castle . 5 mins to Kingscourt and Bailieboro. Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.

The Leck Loft

Our loft is 4 miles from Monaghan town, population 10,000approx. It is located roughly an hour and a half from Dublin and Belfast. Local amenities include 18 hole golf course and driving range, Rossmore Forest park (1.5miles), cinema, leisure centre, a number of pubs and restaurants (4 miles), Glaslough Castle and Equestrian centre (7 miles). There are numerous local lakes for fishing and the Bragan region offers various walking trails.

The Distiller's Lodge is based on the grounds of Old Carrick Mill Distillery. This private 1 bedroom Lodge has its own hot tub , sauna and plunge bath - all using natural mineral water from our private wells on site. Double Shower ✅️ and kitchen. If you are looking for a country retreat full of character and charm Tattymorris Cottage is it! Having built the cottage and spent many happy years here, myself and my wife have decided to see some more of the world and would love to have guests enjoy our retreat as much as we do.

Self contained 1 bedroom upstairs apartment within a traditional farm building with spacious kitchen/living. sleep accomadation is a double bed and travel cot for baby/toddler. oil fired central heating and a solid fuel stove for makes this a very cosy unit.
