Situated in the shadow of the South Downs National Park on a small rural road with hardly any neighbours our charming cottage is a great place from which to explore the unspoiled open countryside and its many footpaths around us. The nearest street light is two miles away. Owls, deer and the occasional nightingale are the only sounds in the middle of the night The cottage décor is fresh and modern with plenty of parking and a small decking area. Pets are allowed by agreement, email us to ask.

Caburn Cabin is in Firle Village in the South Downs national park. Our spacious timber cabin sleeps up to four people. It has a warm rustic charm whilst being fully equipped with modern facilities. There is a rear private deck with seating. Ideal for romantic escapes or active holidays. Enjoy the outdoors by foot & bike direct from the cabin. The local pub & village shop are just 10 minutes walk. Perfect for Glyndebourne, Charleston & Firle weddings or explore nearby towns of Lewes or Brighton.

Romantic lake cabin for two, floating on our peaceful one-acre lake in ancient woodland. Relax by the cosy log burner, cook in the fully fitted kitchen, and wake to magical lake views from the bedroom. In spring, enjoy the woodland with bluebells and delicate flowers; summer brings long golden evenings over the lake, and autumn paints the trees in rich, vibrant colours. Step outside to gentle ripples, watch wildlife, or visit East Hoathly village with its café, shop, and pub just minutes away.

Ideal location for visiting Glyndebourne, Lewes, Brighton, South Downs, Charleston & Monks House, Seven Sisters/south coast .Pub food within 5 mins walk, also buses to Brighton, Lewes, Tunbridge Wells and more.

Hotel-quality shower room. Views of blue sky and the South Downs make this bright, light space perfect for relaxing. Explore the village or venture into Brighton. Off-street parking and easy access to the Downs. Bring your bikes, walking boots or just a book! Cook during your stay or enjoy the restaurants.

The Garden Room

The annex is a detached building with a key safe and separate entrance situated in a very quiet part of the historic county town of Lewes. There is very little passing traffic and as we’re on the outskirts it’s about a 20 mins walk to the centre of the town but are very close to the South Downs, a 5 minute walk away and the gateway to the South Down way and the National Park. (Smoking only allowed outside) Close to Brighton and good access to public transport and a main line to London.

Country garden retreat by the river Barcombe Mills

An idyllic retreat in Barcombe Mills, close to Lewes and the Sussex coast. A warm & comfortable converted barn with stylish bedrooms, modern shower room, and kitchen diner with a big squishy sofa. Outside your door, you’ll walk into a large, private, fully-fenced garden, which you (and your dog) have exclusive use of. If you love long countryside walks by the river, or along the seafront, this is just the place. Pretty Sussex villages and country pubs abound in the area. Adults 18+ only.

Pine tree woodland retreat

This architect designed self contained studio retreat is surrounded by pine trees and positioned in a secluded side annex to our main family house. The area is surrounded by walking paths and quiet country lanes. It is a newly renovated open-plan space with en-suite shower room and private balcony, tree-top views and direct access to a yoga deck. By arrangement guests may have exclusive use of the heated pool and infra-red sauna which is situated at the rear of the main house.

Semi-detached 2bed, KingstonRidge, Kingston, Lewes

A self-contained 2-bedroom flat , semi-detached to our home with separate access on the idyllic Kingston Ridge . Ideal for walkers, the South Downs way is at the end of the private no-through road, or the County Town of Lewes is a 2 mile walk away (or a ten minute drive). Brighton is 8 miles down the road, with a regular bus service. The apartment is ideal for 4-6 people but has a maximum capacity of 8 (sofa bed). N.B. We have a very friendly dog.
