You are completely secluded from the hustle and bustle, yet only 25 minutes away from the city centre, 15 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from three championship golf courses. Take long strolls in the vineyards right from your back door, or just enjoy the mountain views from your private garden. The house is spacious (145sqm) and quiet, with views from every window, and is flooded with natural light. Exposed brick walls show the history of the cottage that used to be stables in the 1700’s and formed part of the original Hope Of Constantia farm. The cottage is serviced weekly with a full clean and change of linen. The garden is also serviced weekly, unless otherwise requested. Access all areas in the cottage including kitchen, living room, study, bedrooms, a private garden, as well as full access to the surrounding farm. There is also a secure garage for parking your car and the house is fully-alarmed. This cottage is situated in a gated private lane with four other homes where the other residents value their peace and tranquility. You are welcome to explore the surrounding area but please respect the residents' privacy. The owners of the cottage live just 100m away with their dog Rafiki. We provide coffee and tea for our guests, as well as a simple breakfast for your first morning at the cottage. Groceries can be purchased in advance of your arrival at an additional fee. The unit has a fully equipped kitchenette and is serviced daily except weekends and public holidays.

We have many pets on the property, 4 friendly dogs which is, 1 ridgeback, 1 Labrador and 2 medium mixed breeds, 3 cats and 2 bunnies. It is very family friendly, but also perfect for a relaxing getaway. There is parking inside the property. Regarding safety, we have a security guard on our road whom Patrol all the time

A tranquil and private mountain retreat where water, forest and mountains will re-awaken the soul. Set high on the mountain slopes of Constantia Nek, Blackwood Log Cabin has panoramic views across the lush valley to the mountains beyond. The 2 bedroomed house sleeps 4 with 2 bathrooms. Power outages are being experienced by SA - the oven/stove is gas, the hot water is gas, the internet is solar driven and we have 2 battery lights for guests use.
