Escape to the beauty of Coniston in our charming self-catering cottage & indulge in an enchanting getaway. Tucked away on a peaceful lane with breathtaking lake views, it’s the perfect retreat for 4 people, and pets are welcome too! Just a short stroll to cosy pubs for great food and drinks, all dog friendly. We offer part-week stays Nov–March (Fri–Mon or Mon–Fri), with Friday check-in's only from March–Nov. Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage, set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

Our house is close to the centre of Coniston village, 2 mins walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants and a short stroll down to the lake. The house has quality furniture and fittings, we've taken time over everything, the wood burning stove, comfy beds and the modern well equipped kitchen. There's beautiful landscapes throughout and some unique leaded glass by Sarah Lace. You can leave the car and walk everywhere if you wish. Our house is good for couples, families and one well behaved dog.

Low Brow - Barn conversion cottage in Coniston

Low Brow a split level detached barn conversion, close to the centre of Coniston. Leave the property and turn right for a short stroll down the hill into the village for shopping, pubs and cafes. Coniston Water is a 15 minute walk and is peaceful and picturesque for sailing and canoeing. Turn left as you leave the property and within minutes you are climbing Coniston Old Man. Ideal as a base for cycling. An elevated patio to the rear of the property offers fine lake views over Coniston Water.
