Escape to the beauty of Coniston in our charming self-catering cottage & indulge in an enchanting getaway. Tucked away on a peaceful lane with breathtaking lake views, it’s the perfect retreat for 4 people, and pets are welcome too! Just a short stroll to cosy pubs for great food and drinks, all dog friendly. We offer part-week stays Nov–March (Fri–Mon or Mon–Fri), with Friday check-in's only from March–Nov. Mister Hare's Cottage - beautiful Lakeland cottage

A stunning 200 year-old cottage located in the charming small village of Bouth in the Lake District, now a UNESCO world heritage region. Situated on a quiet country road and bounded on two sides by open fields, with grazing shire horses and Jersey cows, this is the idyllic country retreat. The cottage has been renovated to the highest standard whilst retaining all the charm of its period. The traditional village pub is a few metres away. Breathtaking natural scenery awaits you from the doorway.

Coniston Water is a 15 minute walk and is peaceful and picturesque for sailing and canoeing. Turn left as you leave the property and within minutes you are climbing Coniston Old Man. Ideal as a base for cycling. An elevated patio to the rear of the property offers fine lake views over Coniston Water.
