It's lovely up here this time of year with huge flocks of starlings, redwings and fieldfares, owls at night and deer coming to the woods' edge on early frosty mornings.

Our favourite walk is along The River Severn path to the English Bridge, up Wyle Cop with its amazing array of independent shops, restaurants and pubs. A little further is the lovely Quarry Park

This is a great location for lovers of both town and country. Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. We have good internet access and a smart TV.
