Comox Bay Suite

This is a suite on the top floor of our home. There is a living room with adjacent deck, a bedroom with queen size bed and a well equipped kitchenette with micro, toaster oven, electric frying pan, crock pot, blender, electric kettle and Keurig coffee maker, coffee, tea, cereals. You have a full private bathroom off the hallway right next to the suite. We have a separate entrance. Big Sky Villa

Welcome to a piece of the Comox Valley history. Our character family home was an original farmhouse built in 1910. Settled between farmlands and the ocean, take your pick for scenery. Mountain & glacier views, walk across the street and you can be in the water with your kayak or paddleboard in minutes. Listen to the birds and wildlife on the back patio overlooking a preserved farm acreage. When not using the home for our family, we love to share it with others to experience a place to gather.

The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Inn with the Old

We love staying in Airbnbs and always wanted to host. Our 750 sq ft carriage home is located minutes to Comox and the beach. We are 3 kms from the airport and 40 kms to Mt. Washington. There is so much to do in the valley and we hope you will relax here after a day of exploring. We are happy to share our local knowledge. We are not pet friendly as we foster animals (service animals are welcome). We share the back yard, but it’s spacious and you have your own patio and entry gate.

Cedar Cottage near the Sea

Our cottage is a cozy little "get away" for couples or a single person, situated on .6 acres of park like setting , quiet and restful, near host's home and across from the beach a few minutes walk away. Close by: Kingfisher Resort and Spa is a 5 minute drive away for pampering yourself with a good meal or spa treatments. Mt Washington Alpine Resort is 45 minutes away for skiing cross country or downhill in the winter, and hiking in the summer. Seaside swimming, reading and relaxing!

Enjoy this unique and tranquil getaway approx 8 min from Comox . Our studio suite has its own entrance and patio under a pergola with a view of fruit trees and expansive gardens on 1.25 acres of privacy. Descend the trail from our home to a beautiful and secluded sandy beach. Enjoy beach walking from our private trail to the sandy beach below as well as nearby Kye Bay Beach, marine/bird life. Bring your own bikes, kayaks, SUPs. The airport is less than 6 minutes away & the town of Comox is a quick five minute drive. Enjoy sunbathing, swimming, hiking in the summer, storm watching in the fall, or a 30 minute drive to Mt. Washington . Please note we have a Nest camera doorbell.
