The Colyer Mercantile

Established in 1857, the Colyer Mercantile is an absolute gem. The house was originally built by William Colyer and it's in his honor that Colyer Lake was named. The 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house has been completely renovated from the inside out. The historic charm of the house has not been lost, but instead, it has become it's most prized highlight. From the push button light switches, to the original door knobs you'll feel like you've gone back in time without losing any modern amenities.

The cabin is located only 20 miles from Penn State University, making it the ideal place to stay while attending events at University Park. The Log House on Main is known to be one of the oldest homes built in Belleville, Pa. It has been completely restructured and renovated. The log house will give you all the old home cabin feels with all of the modern conveniences. You can enjoy the patio with a view on spring and summer days and the fireplace during the cool fall and winter evenings. The house is located 30 miles from Penn State, 10 miles from Greenwood Furnace and 25 miles from Raystown Lake.
