The Willard Mill House - A Forest & River Getaway

Enjoy a stay at our newly renovated historic mill home in the quaint, small town of Willard, WA. We're nestled on the edge of Gifford Pinchot National Forest and just a stone's throw from the Little White Salmon River. Close enough to town (16 min to the Hood River bridge), but far enough away to relax and unwind. The Magic House is in the heart of Hawthorne's charming restaurant and boutique district: 3 blocks to SE Hawthorne & SE Division, 15 min to the airport, 10 min to Downtown and the Convention Center, 2 blocks to the Hawthorne Theatre. The 1909 Magic House was Todji's sculpture studio for 17 years, and we have done the restoration ourselves. We hope that you enjoy her unique character, up-cycled furnishings and artistry.

Our cozy 1 bedroom (queen bed) cabin is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a relaxing escape. Located on 26 acres where deer and turkey roam. Just a few minutes away from I-84 and Hood River. Please be aware that a 4WD vehicle may be required for accessing the property during the snowy season of December, January and February. Feel free to check with me, and I will give you current driving conditions! This is a very low snow year thus far, so no bad driving to report yet!
