Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

Relax on your own little island overlooking the river, or walk down to the beach for a swim or to experience paddle boarding, fishing or swim in the crystal clear waters and watch the bright stars in the night skies. Perfect location for hiking, mountain biking, sight seeing, relaxation.

The house is located in the Mondego River Valley on walking distance of a beautifull isolated riverbeach. A great place to get away from the stressed world. Excellent for a couple or an individual who loves the simplicity, purity and silence of nature. The house includes an open kitchen and living room, a 11 m2 mezanine for sleeping, an outside shower, compost toilet in a 5000 m2 forest garden with granit boulders, natural structures, sculptures and chillout places.

La "Casa Rio est située dans l'entité de Penacova. la maison se trouve au bord du lac mondego. celle-ci peut accueillir maximum 4 personnes, dans un cadre agréable et calme. elle est composée d'un salon, une cuisine, deux chambres avec lits doubles et une salle de bain. le stationnement est gratuit et facile devant la maison. Un jardin avec transat, table de jardin et dès à présent disponible pour les hôtes.

Encontrará na Casinha do Rio um espaço acolhedor com todas as comodidades necessárias à uma estadia relaxante sem preocupações. Toda a sua estadia será acompanhada pelo som melancólico do rio e pela presença imponente da cascata que se localiza mesmo à frente do edifício. A casa está inserida numa zona pouco movimentada, apesar de se localizar a poucos metros do centro da vila de Miranda do Corvo.
