Isabel’s Cottage is owned by Lisa & Ivan. We live just next door. Located on the edge of the Lake District, tucked away in the old part of Great Broughton, on a quiet lane just off the Main Street with lovely walks along the River Derwent right from the doorstep & views over the river & western fells. Cockermouth & Keswick are a short drive away along with the seaside towns of Maryport & Whitehaven & the beaches at Allonby & St Bees. Easy access to the Lakes & the Western Wainwright Fells.

The Barn - What a view!

In beautiful Blindcrake Village, with stunning views of Skiddaw, the Barn is the perfect place to stay with family & friends, cycle the lakes… bag some Wainwrights… Bedrooms: 2 doubles, 2 family, 2 mezzanines (in total, sleeps 13). Quiet, yet easily accessible by road and rail (9 miles) and within walking distance of the local pub. It is equidistant between the towns of Keswick, Cockermouth and Wigton. The nearest Wainwright (Binsey) is walkable from the front door. The house is 4/5 bedrooms, has a large family dining table, 3 lounges, each with stoves (one convertible to a bedroom).

TAN HOWE DYKE is situated between Keswick and Cockermouth, close to Bassenthwaite Lake. A refurbished cottage dating back to Victorian times within a small group of rural properties, opposite picturesque St. Barnabas Church Setmurthy; enjoying beautiful Lakeland views towards the Skiddaw Massif & Binsey. The property is just a short walk from the Lakes Distillery. Fishing, available at nearby Bassenthwaite Lake. TAN HOWE DYKE features landscaped garden and patio.

Stylishly decorated, and deceptively spacious, two bed terraced cottage nestled on the edge of the Western Fells. Fern Cottage is far enough off the tourist track that you can avoid the crowds, but also offers easy access to best of the the Western Fells. We’re just a 10 minute drive from both Loweswater and Ennerdale Water. And the award winning Ennerdale Brewery and Restaurant is just 10 minutes walk down a quiet country lane.

The Croft is a beautiful cottage in the heart of the town of Cockermouth, overlooking the river and a short walk from the shops, pubs, restaurants and other amenities. It is a luxurious, well equipped base from which to explore the Lake District. We welcome all visitors, their children and pets, come and relax in this calm, stylish space.
