Views out towards the Monnow Valley, Skirrid, Sugar Loaf and Black Mountains. Plenty of things to do, see and visit in the area. Dog friendly (two pooches) and has a wood fired hot tub to star gaze.

Secluded Hut on the Welsh Border

Kingfisher Camp is a romantic hideaway set in the dimple of a hillside of a small farm in the foothills of the Black Mountains. The hut is available for anyone who is content to cuddle up by candlelight and light the woodburning stove to get cosy, or spend a night out by the fire, cooking food and star gazing. The setting is gorgeous, the views are stunning, the hut is much bigger than a shepherds hut, and the shower is a glorious experience! It's pretty special here. Hard to beat we think!

The area is rich in wildlife and perfect for walking, cycling, fishing, bird/nature watching or simply relaxing. The village of Longtown is nearby (2 miles) with its very own 12th century castle, a traditional local pub/restaurant and an excellent shop selling local produce .

In winter it’s all snuggling round the log burner with breath-taking views and wonderful walks, and in summer it’s outside living in a flower-rich meadow. Welcome to The Potting Shed! A cosy couples retreat, renovated to a very high standard, with many funky features and fantastic attention to detail. Just a stroll away from our friendly, foodie village pub, right on Offa’s Dyke path. It’s a special place, nestled in its own little corner of my garden, with an emphasis on luxury and lovely things.
