Cheerful 3 bedroom cottage on the Allegheny River

We built the summer cottage in 2006, for a summer home stayed on. We lived in the cottage 8 years when we wanted a bigger house. We love it year around. We are isolated with 3 neighbors (not close) and the river at our front door. Good boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, swimming , hiking, bird watching (with a eagle nest across the river). December through February, it is best if you come with 4 wheel drive. Having said that , we keep the road plowed and the hill sanded.

This oneroom cottage has all you could dream about for relaxation. Meet the highland cows & other farm animals, A Hot Tub, Large Pond, feed the fish, Trails to walk, Private places to sit and enjoy. A canoe and life jackets are available. If you like to swim with the fish you are welcome. Please note that our property is an adult-only retreat designed for relaxation and rejuvenation. Guests must be 21 years or older to book and stay, and we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 21.

Explore my 39 acres of woods with deer, fox, wild turkeys, bear, etc. Explore the four old logging paths.

Take a few steps out the door and trek the North Country Trail along gentle pathways or exert a little more energy to see the Scenic Loops. Next, cool down on your dock on the Clarion River Lake. Swim, fish ,kayak, boat or just relax in the sun. Finish the day dining on he River Overlook deck, the campfire, or a fine local restaurant.
