The Miner cabin is small & cozy with one room and a full bath with shower. There is a counter with a two eye burner plug-in stove, microwave, toaster, Keurig, and a mini fridge. Coffee, creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, basic cookware, and dishes are supplied. The cabin sits as one of six across from the historic Paxton Lodge. It is walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our private sand beach. We have a few walking/hiking trails on the property, or drive to others. Lawn games and more!

At the bottom of our hill next to the Community Garden is the Susan River Trail. Maybe go for a stroll on your way to coffee or hit up the two walkable grocery stores or explore our beautiful trails, lakes, high desert scapes and mountains. Please enjoy Susanville and while you are here, just relax!

Whether traveling for work or pleasure - The Storybook Suite will provide a cozy mountain farm retreat.
