Knock About on the Lake is a wonderful lake cottage on a secluded wooded cove on Lake Wedowee! Perfect for a fall getaway, escape from the winter snow, or summer family fun. Three bedrooms, a downstairs TV/bonus room with 2 bunkbeds (4th "bedroom"), two full and one half baths. Enjoy nearby hiking, antiquing, or drinks by the our beautiful firepit under the stars. Serene lake views with your coffee from our large screened porch or sitting on our dock. Boating, and fishing are excellent.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Tammy’s Cozy Cabin is located minutes from Jacksonville and Piedmont, AL. It is close to biking, hiking, and horse trails. Jacksonville State University football, softball, and basketball. There are also wineries, museums, and kayaking. You can sit on the front porch or around the fire-pit and listen to the sounds of nature. It is located on the owners property but is secluded by trees. It had its own drive and self-check in.

Clovers Cabin

Clover's cabin is a very cozy little place on Straight Mountain on a very curvy road. Update: We now have WIFI. Beautiful view in the winter, you can see for miles. Lots of tree coverage in the summer, which brings privacy. It sits about 200 feet from our home. A nice quiet place other than the animal noises. You can hike right out the back door. Please read entire guest manual under INFO FOR GUESTS, POST-BOOKING DETAILS. Give Code word to confirm it was read. Thank you

Miller Farms: A Quiet Country Cabin Retreat

This is a quiet get-away located on Miller's farm only 20 min. from I-20 between Atlanta & B'ham The sunsets are spectacular. Mt. Cheaha is approximately 15 minutes from the farm. The farm is located approximately 45 minutes from the Talladega Race Track and Anniston (home to the Cheaha Challenge bicycle race),Talladega National Forest 10 minutes, Tallapoosa River and Lake Wedowee, 281 Scenic Byway, Scenic Hwy 49 that leads to US Military Park at Horse Shoe Bend.

You won’t forget your time in this romantic, memorable place. . Enjoy 4 acres of seclusion adjacent to the Chief Ladiga trail and walking distance to the Pinhoti trail. The main level contains a fully appointed kitchen, half bath, and sleeper couch. Ascend the spiral stairs to the main bedroom with exposed beams and a rustic tin ceiling. Enjoy 3 decks and soak in the scenery or relax in the swinging bed or hottub and listen to the sounds of Little Terrapin Creek.

Come and enjoy the sunset overlooking the pond on our private 60 acre working farm. This luxury safari tent sits on a large wrap around deck complete with your own private bathhouse. As you arrive be prepared for a dirt road adventure and to be greeted by our trusty friend Jack the donkey and beautiful highland cows and horses among the rolling pastures. Come play at the lake. Private 1-bdrm basement apartment lakefront on Lake Logan Martin. Beautiful sunset views from LR and Bdrm. Queen bed, rain shower in private bath, kitchen with stovetop (no oven), living room and bedroom w/smart tvs. Dock, 2 kayaks, hammock, outdoor shower, and fire pit access. Seventeen miles from Talladega Speedway. We are available on site, but will respect your privacy. Apt has private entrance and designated parking.

Creekside Cottage

If you love nature you will love Creekside Cottage overlooking Choccolocco Creek (the 3rd largest creek in the US). It is close to Anniston and Oxford, Cheaha State Park, CMP, hiking, fishing, biking, kayaking, dining, sports facilities, theaters, museums, etc. Amenities include WiFi, Smart TV with You Tube TV, Amazon Prime, and Netflix., Foosball table, gas grill, and fire pit. No parties. We don’t charge cleaning fees or have checkout chores.

Choccolocco Retreat

Located on 7 acres in the beautiful Choccolocco Valley with gorgeous views of the Appalachian Foothills. In addition to lovely interior decor, outdoor spaces include patio with grill, covered area, and adjacent wildlife area/walking. The bedrooms are located on the second floor and accessible by stairs. The home is located adjacent to my home.
