The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings at this peaceful pod in the Welsh Hills, just over a mile outside Devils Bridge, which is famous for its waterfalls. The Pod is on a quiet country lane with lots of wonderful walks straight out the door. The Pod is cosy and the perfect spot to enjoy the quiet countryside and beautiful dark skies, whilst also having plenty of interesting things to do and see in the local area.

Golygfa, meaning ‘nice view’ is a name of our home that is on top of a little hill overlooking the Teifi gorge. Stunning views towards the Preseli hills, just a stones throw from Poppit, Mwnt and Aberporth beach.
