This cabin is conveniently located in the Gila Forest, 3 miles North of Reserve on Hwy 12 between New Mexico Game Management Units 16D and 15. We are ½ a mile NE of Eagle Point Lookout turnoff off Hwy 12 (GMU 16D) and 2.1 miles South of Torette Lake RD turnoff on Hwy 12 (GMU 15). In addition, Reserve Sportman’s Club shooting range is 1.7 miles (road travel) from the cabin. If needed, there is plenty of space on the property to shoot your bow (bring your own targets). Yurt With a View

The Yurt is an extraordinary refuge from the frenzy of the city. Securely set high (7600ft) among mountains, the views stretch out in all directions backing up to the Cibola National Forest. Elk, deer, coyotes, and many birds share their land with us. The dark night sky is breathtaking. The yurt is off-the-grid lit by soft oil lamps after sunset. We also laid a seven-circuit labyrinth for meditative walking. A hot tub is available up at the house. You are welcome to this place of peace.

Aragon Hunting Lodge

A hunter's paradise in NM Elk Hunting Unit 16D. This 1,680 square foot cabin built from 12-inch logs sleeps up to 9. The ambiance is fascinating - fabulous views through large windows across green meadows and pine forests. From 10x40 covered porch listen to the Tularosa Creek running by the cabin year-round. A great quiet get-away where you can almost touch the stars and may see elk walking outside the window. There is wildlife and nature everywhere with direct access to the Gila Wilderness.

Shekinah Hermitage: Peace at the Forest’s Edge

Shekinah Hermitage is at 8000ft. overlooking the Cibola N. F. This unique cabin looks into a canyon to the north, and eastward over the San Agustin Plains. Surrounded by juniper and pinion trees, it is very remote. Windows all around give the feel of being outdoors but the solid structure is immovable in high winds. Inside is all you need including limited solar-battery 120V electricity. There is an attached bathroom with a sawdust composting toilet. Outside a high deck offers stunning views.

800 Sq. Ft. cabin in gated National Forest community, 1 mile from Quemado Lake. A water tank behind the home attracts elk some evenings. The bedroom features a dual-adjustable King-Size mattress, fitted with Giza Dreams sheets, and a comfortable sleeper sofa in the common area. "City" water, dishwasher, washer & dryer, 700 Sq. This place will make your time & gathering or event feel extra special! We have worked hard to make this space family friendly. This place is only a short drive to the Gila National Forest. This camp is well suited for intimate seminars, retreats, outfitters & special get aways. We have a fenced yard, pack n play, restaurant style highchairs etc. We also have a cabin with two bedrooms (the Leggett Cabin). If more space is needed to be added on, please let us know.

Sleep in luxury on a California King-sized bed, featuring flannel and luxurious sheets, a heavy down comforter, and pillows.
