I'm less than a one hour drive from Cork, Kilkenny, Dungarvan and Waterford and 40 minutes from Limerick so central. The beautiful Glen of Aherlow is nearby with great walks, cycle trails and horse riding. You’ll love my place because of the stove, the comfy bed, the kitchen, the cosiness, the high ceilings and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers and families

The Swallow's Nest

Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

From artist studio to guest house, this little building is an ongoing project, with so much to offer. Sitting on higher grounds just behind the main house, it has its own garden with a view to take your breath away. It’s a bit of a rise to get there but totally worth it. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

Our rustic 21 ft wooden yurt is set in the Galtee Mountains with hiking & biking at your doorstep. The yurt has a wood stove, tea/coffee, toaster, microwave, bbq, fridge, stereo, books, games and dvd player. Continental b'fast for 2 is included in price. Two normal bikes are available for use. Take in the spectacular views of the Galtees from the cottage or put on your walking shoes and enjoy a stroll in the nearby mountains and woodlands.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. It will give you your own private entrance. It's a comfortable studio apartment, it has 2 single beds and a very comfortable sofa bed with mattress topper for a good night's sleep. It consists of a mini kitchen with kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and washing machine.
