Mckenzie River Getaway - Modern Rustic UPPER CABIN

Located in the heart of McKenzie River recreation area. Private & tranquil riverfront cabin. This is the UPPER level cabin (private w/no shared connections) Vaulted living space w/woodstove & amazing river views from inside or the private upper deck outside. One comfy bedroom + cozy sleeping loft (w/2 twins) accessed by pullout ladder & another sofa bed in the Living Space. Just steps to the river. The Lower downstairs cabin is also available separately for larger groups. Only a mile to Tokatee.

Mama Moon Treehouse

This magical treehouse was built by Pete Nelson 25 years ago and recently renovated with help from his crew. It sits in living trees on our 5 acre property next to its own little pond and fountain. It has a bathroom with sink and toilet, hot water outdoor shower, wifi, heat, AC & more! Enjoy the outdoor space with, hammocks, grill and fire pit by the pond. A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.

Designed as a nod to my heritage, Skoghus ('forest house' in Norwegian) was crafted for relaxation, and reconnecting with nature. Aptly named the Osprey Treehouse because of the multiple Osprey that spent the summer hovering and watching us build this 20-foot octagon building around a single grand 42-inch old Douglas Fir. Oversized windows and a sliding door give you the feeling of being high up in the trees. Sleeps 2 adults. For safety reasons, we do not allow pets or children younger than 12. The entrance is level and parking close. The cleaning fee is $50 and applicable taxes are already added to your bill.
