Shepherd hut -secluded riverside location

Our isolated shepherd’s hut is a cosy place with a large spacious shower and a comfortable king size bed. Recently fitted yet with some antique features. It has a private river view with its own private picnic table on the river too. There is a large garden area and private mooring. A porch area at the front and a cosy kitchen area to relax with a glass of wine or cup of coffee...we provide toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave and there’s a fire pit on request and a local Tesco very close by.

A discrete and well maintained hideaway at the end of a private driveway, with country views and the River Cam running past the window. Riverside Retreat is located in the picturesque village of Ickleton, approximately 11 miles south of Cambridge and 5 miles north of Saffron Walden. Duxford Air Museum is 3.4 miles to the west. Ickleton has a local shop providing daily essentials. There are numerous public footpaths, and a nature reserve nearby. Welcoming pubs and cafes are a short trip away.

Commuting to the nearby cities of Cambridge, Milton Keynes and Bedford can be achieved in around 30 minutes by car and public transport is available close by

There is a bedroom with a beautiful wooden bed. There is a kitchen/diner and lounge with a large sofa bed suitable for two children. The bathroom has a small bath with waterfall shower. Plenty of parking to the front of the property. Great for walkers, cyclists, paddle boarders, bird watchers, romantics

Charming refurbished Victorian cottage in a tranquil riverside setting with a private garden bordered by the River Cam/Granta on the old mill run at Whittlesford Mill. It is 6 miles from Cambridge, Duxford IWM is 2 miles away and there is a mainline station - Cambridge (10 minutes), London Liverpool Street (1 hour). The village has a gastro pub called The Tickell Arms, a restaurant called Provenance and The Red Lion. Saffron Walden is 8 miles away where Audley End House can also be found.

Isleham village and Mildenhall stadium are a 30 minute walk away. The village has pubs, Co-Op store, restuarant and take away.
