Poplar Cove Retreat is a nature lover's paradise! Whether your interest is flowers, trees, birds, or rocks, you'll find it all in abundance. The house is located on our 80+ acre family farm where black angus cattle also reside. You may also spot deer, turkeys, and other wildlife. There are numerous bird feeders so you can enjoy birdwatching from several outdoor seating areas. The property is filled with paths through wildflower gardens and has expansive views of the surrounding mountains.

Not all escapes are found on maps; some are found in time. Tucked into a quiet hollow between Dale Hollow Lake and Lake Cumberland sits a 1919 schoolhouse where stories linger and life slows. Page's Legacy: Winter Hideaway at the Lake

All rooms have a view of the lake and the deck overlooks Dale Hollow. We are a mile from Wolf River Boat Dock. The suite is downstairs with a private entrance. There are walking paths that encompasses 3 acres on the property. The private deck has a fire pit for chilly mornings to enjoy coffee or relaxing evening. We live on top of the hill and are available if you need anything.

The cabin is a wonderful place for a family retreat or couples getaway! It is conveniently located 3 minutes from a four lane highway and is less than 15 minutes south of a town that has a population of around 5,000 and 20-30 minutes north of a larger college town of approximately 35,000. The Cabin is nestled by a shallow creek and faces 25 wooded acres that are ideal for hiking and enjoying nature.

Covered Slip with Star Point Dale Hollow Home

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful Star Point Village getaway a little over a mile to Star Point marina AND includes a boat slip. This home is also within 15 minutes of Eagle's Cove and Sunset marinas. Have a great day at the lake and return to this retreat for a BBQ and relax in the screened front porch, back deck, in the sun room or around the fire pit.
