Take in the view of the lakes and the 12th century Trinity Abbey. Enjoy the private walks around the island, following badger/deer trails, listen to the dawn chorus, meditate, read, write, take photographs, fish, take a trip by canoe, boat or float tube. Afterwards enjoy a sauna.

This cosy apartment is a short walk from ballyhaise village and 6km from cavan town. There is a regular bus into cavan town. It is a perfect place to stay when exploring tourist attractions in the Midlands or going to a wedding in one of Cavans hotels or just for a quiet break The self contained apartment is fully stocked with all kitchen essentials needed for a self-catering break The hosts are happy to answer any questions about the apartment or the local area. On a lakeside setting beside a public jetty which has direct access to the Shannon-Erne Waterway and near to the National Trust Crom Estate. A spacious, bright, airy, fully equipped self-catering house which has direct access down to Bun Bridge public jetty & small craft slipway. Relax, BBQ, stroll around, swim/jump off the jetty, use the slipway to launch your boat, jetski, kayak or do a spot of fishing.

This cosy and comfortable house is located on the same grounds as the host in a quiet and tranquil place just 5 minutes from Cavan town. Perfect location just off the main N3 Dublin road. Only a 4 minute drive from the Hotel Kilmore, 5 minutes from Cavan town/ supermarkets/Cavan Crystal Hotel and 10 mins from Equestrian Centre. There are 2 bedrooms, one king and the other bedroom with a double and single bed. All essential kitchen facilities are provided and a welcome pack upon arrival.

Detached very small room with bathroom and private entrance in a rural location and would need transport to access the area. Only suitable for 2 adults or 1 adult and 1 child. Infants not allowed. 15 minute drive from Cavan town. 10 minutes drive to the closest shop and pub. Includes double bed, microwave, small fridge freezer, small folding table, small George Foreman grill, kettle, hot water, electric heating and Smart TV with Netflix. Bathroom includes walk-in shower, toilet and sink.

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

Cloverhill Gate Lodge

This old stone cottage built between 1830 -1850 is tucked away at the archway entrance to the Cloverhill Estate. This cottage is surrounded by gardens and woodland. The magic of this cottage is undeniable . Originally built for the Gate Keeper this cottage reflects heritage with rustic simplicity. Though some features and fittings have been replaced, the survival of historic features, including the label mouldings and timber bargeboards add to its character and charm.
