3 1/2 miles North off US-2 Perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

Grand Marais Cozy Cabin

This cozy cabin is located just minutes from Grand Marais' shops, restaurants, grocery store, post office and bank. AuSable Lake and sand dunes are within a couple of miles and AuSable Falls is on the way to the dunes. The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded on three sides by trees. The spacious yard has a fire pit for bonfires and a grill. The cabin sleeps six guests. There are two bedrooms with a queen size bed in each, and a sunroom that can convert to a third bedroom.

Our cottage is across the street from the South shore of Munising Bay, next door to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore with Lake Superior kayaking, biking, hiking, ORV and snowmobile trails, and multiple waterfalls nearby. For hikers, the North Country Trail passes by the font door. A public fishing pier is across the street at the mouth of the Anna River. Close to restaurants, the beach, and fishing. Great base camp for Ice fishing on Lake Superior right across the street. Sorry no pets!
