Please note: Lake Buchanan is NOT a constant level lake and the water level will fluctuate with rain or drought. The nearest boat ramp is at Burnet County Park, about 6.4 miles (11 minutes) from the house. It is free to access. The dock is most suitable for shallow-bottom fishing boats. There is swimming, fishing, hiking, wildlife and the beautiful outdoors of the Texas Hill Country.
