Also nearby is DE Turf and Sports at the Beach for those visiting the area to play in tournaments. In addition, you can visit the famous Rehoboth Boardwalk or Tanger outlets.

Charming, Historic Lewes Cottage

This charming cottage is a great romantic getaway. It is cozy and an easy walk into the historic town of Lewes ~ many great restaurants are nearby. Lewes is a fascinating & historic town with so much to do: biking, canoeing, birding, beach time, museums, and more. The doors of the Cottage have low head jams and the stairs are compact. There is some noise from the nearby road ~ a white noise machine is provided. The cottage is compact, the refrigerator for the Cottage is a small one.

The boardwalk in front of our home leads to the beach path access across the street. You will enjoy views from both the front and back decks: including the beach & Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge. Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge surrounding Broadkill has a family oriented hiking trail with an observation deck. Great views with lots of wildlife to see.

In the heart of downtown Milton, you will find a newly renovated guest cottage less than 10 miles to the beach! If you plan on staying local, simply park your car at the designated off-street parking space and travel by foot to the many shops, restaurants, and attractions offered in historic Milton. Whether you're walking the few short blocks to Dogfish Head Brewery or spending an evening at the theater, The Book Nook will serve as the perfect location!

Our large, comfortable, pet friendly beach house well suited to families and mellow friend groups is 2 lots from a crescent beach that you can walk for miles in either direction, offers some water views from the top of the steps and one bedroom. We have a sandy area under the house with beach chairs, SUP & 4 adult bikes in beach closet that opens with the house key for your stay. Gather together in the great room at days end.
