Registration Number: M0270428520 The apartment is situated in Santa Croce district, only a few steps from the lively S.Giacomo da l'Orio Square which is renowned for being one of the most picturesque and popular areas of Venice where locals gather to socialise and gossip. The flat is on the third and last floor of a building located in Corte dei Mercanti, a small and cozy square situated about 10 minutes far from the Rialto Bridge and - going to the opposite direction - only 15 minutes far from Venice S.Lucia railway station. The apartment, recently restored, incorporates the concept of a typical Venetian house which reflects both in the furniture and in its architectural structure. While renovating, attention was paid to recreate and maintain the spirit and atmosphere of the Venetian merchants who livened up this area for decades. Furthermore, furnishings are a work of art as it comes from handy work of local artisans and Murano glass factories. The flat offers a 360° view as it boasts windows on each side and it develops on two levels: the main floor where the living/kitchen areas, the bathroom as well as the bedroom are situated, and the upper floor which hosts a relaxing area and a rooftop terrace. The entrance door gives access to the roomy and luminous living area is decorated with three-colour wallpaper and infused by natural light thanks to four windows. The space also includes a comfy sofa, a television and a tea table. Straight ahead, the wide and functional kitchen completes the area. It has classic style custom-made furniture which includes a slate top and details made of pewter. All appliances and a classy wooden table - which seats four - finish the furnishings. The bathroom with shower and a comfortable bedroom complete the main floor. Here, a double bed, a bridge wardrobe and a couple of reading lights furnish the space which is decorated with floral wallpaper and other decorative elements that recall the thousand-year old relationship existing between Venice and the Far East. The ceiling highlights once again the original structure of the building and a lovely skylight ideally extends the room towards the sky. A stairway made of Venetian grey granite leads to the upper floor where, nestled it the eaves of the roof, an air-conditioned reading area finds place. It represents the ideal place where to relax lay on the sofas. The loft also offers a terrace which overlooks the surrounding roofs and bell towers, among which the S.Maria dei Frari and S.Mark's ones. This sunny area is equipped with fine teak chairs and table for four to enjoy unique breakfasts, sunsets, sunrises or a romantic dining under the stars. The Santa Croce district is the heart of everyday Venice, is the Neighborhood, where Venetians live, far from noisy of touristic flow, but, in the meantime, really close to the main Venetian attractions. Here ACTV line number 1 and airport shuttle Alilaguna Orange line stop. This is the closest water bus stop which is located 2 minutes far from the apartment (no bridges to cross). The railway station Venezia-Santa Lucia is easily reachable in only 15 minutes on foot, while Venice bus terminal and parking garages are only 20 minutes far. Ca' del Forno si trova nel cuore del centro storico di Venezia, dove la vita dei veneziani si può vivere ogni mattina a pochi passi da Campo San Polo al Mercato di Rialto. In zona si trovano moltissime osterie, ristoranti, bar, negozi e supermercati. Vicino abbiamo la Casa di Carlo Goldoni, Museo di Ca' Pesaro, la Chiesa dei Frari ed il famoso Ponte di Rialto. Per i mezzi pubblici a 2 minuti si trova la fermata del Vaporetto San Silvestro dove ferma la linea 1 e senza dover attraversare ponti.

The apartment, in the real centre of Venice, presents a classical venitian plan with a very spacious and central living-room (50 square meters) withbalcony on a lovely canal and 4 large rooms on sides(2 on each side). At the moment it is composed of 3 large bedrooms (20-25 square metres each) with 3 bathrooms en-suite, a large kitchen with table for 8 people and 4 bathrooms with showers. The location, the large spaces available are unique and rare for an apartment in the centre of the city.

Una settimana prima dell'arrivo verrà richiesto online il documento di un ospite, il pagamento delle spese di pulizia (50€ per l'intero soggiorno per tutto il gruppo) e la tassa di soggiorno. I vostri dati sono condivisi solo con la Polizia e la Municipalità. A Venezia non ci sono molti ascensori però l'ultimo piano ha il vantaggio di non avere umidità o muffa.
