@Maggie is a contemporary, architect designed holiday home in a small eco reserve, 5 minutes from Montagu, on the R62, about 180 km from Cape Town. Access to the reserve is gained by entering and passing through the orchards on Le Domaine farm. The reserve itself is nestled next to the CBR dam, with the ideal opportunity to do silent watersport, like canoeing. For keen birdwatchers this is paradise...watching fish eagles will be the highlight. @Maggie promises a peaceful, tranquil stay.

There is also a splash pool that is filled with water straight from the river & due to all the tannins in the water, it has a brown colour. The log cabin is situated in a bird sanctuary on the outskirts of Stanford overlooking the Klein Rivier It is raised on stilts allowing for one of a kind views of beautiful wetlands, mountain ranges and surroundings. As rainfall throughout the year isn't consistent the water levels change at will. Vlei dry at this moment. means that you will either have a massive body of water enabling you to use the canoe or a dried up pan perfect for walks to the river. Have a kolkol hottub also at cabin

Underhill Cottage

90 minutes from Cape Town, nestled between mountain ranges, on the banks of the river, this is a perfect retreat from big city life. Entirely off-grid, this peaceful cottage has two double bedrooms with a spacious open plan lounge, kitchen, dining area and one bathroom comprising a large shower, toilet and basin. Surrounded by mountains boasting a picturesque garden and farm dam view, New Beginnings Cottage is situated on Toddle Inn Farm, 21kms (10kms on gravel) outside the historic town of Montagu in the Western Cape. It is private and mostly quiet and peaceful, however, it is situated in a working farm area. It is pet friendly by arrangement and is mostly fenced off but is open to the farm dam at the bottom so is not 100% foolproof.
