Hay Loft in the Peak District near Buxton

Located near the highest village in Britain, Flash, in the beautiful Peak District National Park, 1540 above sea level, in the winter we do get some snow, the Hay Loft has been designed to create a great base for exploring the countryside. On it’s doorstep are; Dragon’s Back Ridge, Chrome Hill, Axe Edge Moor and Buxton. We are only 30 minutes from Mam Tor, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Curlews fly around the farm. Within a mile is Flash Bar Stores serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and groceries.

Rural Romantic Shepherds Hut Peak District

SET ALONE IN A PADDOCK , ROMANTIC AND COSY RETREAT INTHE PEAK DISTRICT. All modern comforts, including a microwave, kettle,toaster, CD/DAB radio, Electric, sink+hot water inside hut and a large gas BBQ on the decking outside and 🔥fir pit. Inside is a fantastic wood burning stove or Electric Radiator,you’ll be snug as a bug and a comfortable double bed. At the end of the field away from the Hut is located a modern toilet and shower in a stone building 100m away with a fridge/ freezer. FREE WIFI

Converted top floor of Barn outbuilding. Filtered natural spring water supplies the Barn. Small patio, gas BBQ and garden Situated on a walking path/bridle way giving immediate access to walking/hiking/cycling routes within the High Peak. Valley views toward Chrome Hill. Sheep graze surrounding fields. 3 miles from historic Buxton market/spa town. International Festival held yearly. Nightlife, culture and good restaurants along with the Opera House and Arts Centre within the Pavilion Gardens

Thirkelow Cottage - near Buxton, Peak District

Situated in the beautiful Peak District just a 5 minute drive (or an hour walk) from the tourist town of Buxton, this large luxury 5 bedroom cottage has unrestricted views of the surrounding countryside and is perfect for a relaxing getaway from everyday life. Built with all the mod cons such as underfloor heating, modern heating systems, fast Wifi Broadband access; with huge lounge, modern kitchen and bathrooms, this is a cosy retreat even in winter. "The Old Shippon" at Stoop Farm is a modern barn conversion sleeping at least 6 in 3 spacious bedrooms all with private bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen, large lounge and dinning area gives you all you need to unwind and relax in this spectacular corner of the Peak District National Park overlooking Chrome Hill. Footpaths lead you directly into one of the most dramatic landscapes of the peaks. Stoop farm is in a beautiful secluded location yet only 15mins from the spa town of Buxton.

Delightful Studio House-superb location!

Our studio has been a complete labour of love and now we're finally ready to share this beautiful little spot. You can wake up and hike until your hearts content, take in the sights in town and end your day reclining on the sofa with a cosy pellet burner. We have ample parking, private entrance, walking distance (1.2miles) to town (bars & restaurants), bus stop to Buxton / Macclesfield. Wifi, Sky TV,Netflix. Non smoking. *We do not have a hob or oven* EV Charger (added cost). Sorry no pets.

Friendly and knowledgable hosts who can give great local advice including walking and cycling routes and places to visit and dine out.

This lovely remote location lets you unwind in the great outdoors, with breathtaking hill walks straight out of the door. The most popular route being ‘The Dragon’s Back’. Buxton, the local historic spa town, is just a 15 minute drive or 60 minute walk. There are a handful of local villages - Earl Sterndale, Hollinsclough, Longnor and Hartington that are all relatively close. The perfect place for a relaxing getaway.
