We are a family that love living here and have a self contained space connected to our house, with separate access, FREE PRIVATE driveway parking, private garden, patio, BBQ all for you to enjoy. If want to walk, swim, sightsee, chill, cycle, eat out or shop we have have everything in strolling distance. You will have full cooking facilities, dishwasher and a washer dryer. The en-suite bedroom has super comfy king size bed. We feel very lucky to live here and would love you to enjoy it too

Applebeck Guest Suite Annexe

We love living here and we're sure you will love staying in our comfortable guest suite with private entrance. Just a short walk from lake Windermere and the centre of Bowness with all its shops, cafes and restaurants. Your suite is separate from the rest of the house and offers a delightful bedroom with comfy king size bed, French doors leading out to a small raised patio and a private, modern bathroom. Please note there is no kitchen, but we do provide a microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge.

Ferndown is a detached house on a quiet, private road less than 10 minutes walk away from Bowness Bay, the Passenger Boats and all the restaurants, bars and shops in Bowness. Windermere railway station is a short taxi ride away. The property is ideally located on a lovely site with far reaching views. Your spacious accommodation has recently been entirely renovated and is a completely self contained unit, located on the first floor with its own private entrance via your south facing balcony.

Tethera Nook - a beautifully crafted retreat

Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

It has its own reserved parking space and is just 200 yards from the centre of the busy village of Bowness and the waterfront of Windermere itself.

We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Fir Cottage is a traditional Lakeland Terraced Victorian home ideally located to explore the Lake District. It is a 10 minute walk to the village of Bowness, where shops, restaurants, and of course Lake Windermere is located or a 10 minute walk to Windermere village for more cafes, shops and restaurants. The house is ideal for a family or a small gathering of friends. Guests have the entire house to themselves, located in a quiet and peaceful street. Parking is on the street and free.
