A cosy comfortable house with all your home comforts, lovely sunny garden and only 15 minutes walking distance from both Windermere and Bowness centres with all their shops, bars and restaurants. (A little longer on the way back uphill.) It is the perfect stay for hikers and families alike. You have both towns on your doorstep and numerous walks from the front door. Built in 1878, our traditional Lakeland cottage has 2 private parking spaces and is situated in the heart of Windermere, one minute's walk from the shops, restaurants and pubs. It is a well appointed country style cottage offering space and great features. It has a private patio with dining furniture at the rear. The sitting room, kitchen & dining room are on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms and 2 newly installed bathrooms are on the 1st floor and a TV room and utility room are in the cellar.

Fir Cottage is a traditional Lakeland Terraced Victorian home ideally located to explore the Lake District. It is a 10 minute walk to the village of Bowness, where shops, restaurants, and of course Lake Windermere is located or a 10 minute walk to Windermere village for more cafes, shops and restaurants. The house is ideal for a family or a small gathering of friends. Guests have the entire house to themselves, located in a quiet and peaceful street. Parking is on the street and free.
