It is secluded but close to Glen Arbor, Crystal River, Palmer woods MTB trails, Glen Lake, and hikes on Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. The house is perched up on a hill with a wrap around deck to enjoy the views and an outdoor fire pit also with a view of Glen Lake. Or enjoy the view from inside with the wood stove. Within a 5 min drive you can get to a public access for Glen lake or Lake Michigan.

Come up north and enjoy the peaceful, laid back feel of country living.  Wake up early and go down to the dock, enjoy a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise over the lake. Traverse City is 20 minutes away where you have the national cherry festival, fine dining, casinos, and world class winery's with beautiful views of the bay. Orv trails abound, and in the winter, this year round cabin is in the heart of the snow belt with some of the best snowmobiling in the lower peninsula.

Welcome to the Pura Vida (Pure Life) Cottage with 115 feet of private water frontage on Chandler Lake where time wasted at the lake is time well spent! This charming cottage built in 2020 is available all year long offering an ideal base camp and easy access to Traverse City and surrounding areas for fall, winter, spring, and summer activities. We hope you will make Pura Vida your choice destination!

Three bedroom ranch in quiet neighborhood with private backyard. **Hosts stay in separate lower level with separate entrance. Wooded trails in back yard. 15 minutes from downtown TC and public beaches. Attached deck area with gas grill and large back yard with fire pit. Children are welcome. As of 2026 we no longer allow pets. Coffee, tea, and some extras provided.
