Broadwater is a River Retreat that nestles on the banks of the Vaal River near Kimberley and the town of Douglas in the Northern Cape Province. In this pristine aquatic environment, you find space for the solitary and activity for the energetic. Relax with a cocktail next to the swimming pool, spot a fish eagle from the Natura Barge, or relax with a delicious chef's choice meal in our River Restaurant. We have a fifty-kilometer river stretch for anglers and watersport enthusiasts.

Pecan View

Pecan view is located on a pecan nut and grap farm 12 km out of Groblershoop. The farm is located among the orange river and serounded with a very secure environment. It is a great opportunity for guests so stay over night on there way to the Kalahari. Guests can also come and enjoy a long stay with us to embrace our beautiful landscap. The orange river is 800m from the house where you can go and enjoy a sundowner and have the opportunity to enjoy our picture perfect sunsets.

Hidden Karoo Cottage

Hidden Karoo Cottage is op 'n skaap- en beesplaas in die hartjie van die Karoo, tussen Britstown en Strydenburg, geleë. Hier kan gaste die sonsondergange en sterrehemel besigtig. Die hoofslaapkamer het 'n koninggrootte-bed, terwyl die tweede en derde slaapkamers elk 'n koningingrootte-bed het. Die kombuis is met 'n stoof, oond, yskas-vrieskas, eetgerei en breekware toegerus. Die oopplan-leefarea het 'n etenstafel, gemaklike rusbanke en 'n binnebraai-area.

Leopolds Rest Room 1

If you visit Prieska, this is the place to stay. You will find the best views in town, with amazing sunrise and sunset. The evening you will enjoy peace and quiet will you can light your barbeque while star gazing. The room has his private terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee and some homemade rusk. There is also a workspace availble and we can add an extra bed to the room if the client request seperate beds.

Here you are held in a gentle way, not with noise, but with silence, with stars, with peace, with hospitality and humanity! The Karoo does not try to impress with its beauty, it just quietly places it in your lap while it speaks to your heart...

Ougat

Ougat is peaceful, private, well located and fully equipped. It’s a stylish one bedroom apartment (double bed), built in cupboards, bathroom fully equipped kitchen with a private patio and braai area. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, oven/stove, microwave and everything to make a lovely cuppa. Room with air-conditioning, free WiFi and safe parking on the premises.

Ouma se Huis.

Come and enjoy a comfortable stay at this old, renovated, 4 bedroom, farm house. Have a relaxed over night stay or a few days with family and friends. Lots of outdoor space for children to explore the farm. Jut enjoy the tranquility, clean air and bright night sky. Bookings can be made per room or the entire house for a group.

Kalahari Prayer house

On the banks of the mighty Orange river lies our home and airbnb. Enjoy the nature on our working pecan, raisin and grape farm. Kids will be able to feed chicken, sheep and our horse, Jess. The Kalahari prayer house is the perfect stop on your way to the Kgalagadi transfrontier park
