If you fancy a peaceful stroll along the Ericht river it’s only 3 mins walk away or continue into the quaint highland town centre of Blairgowrie, 5 mins walk (famous for its strawberries) for pubs,supermarkets , cafes, shops and restaurants. “Cosy but spacious, peaceful, very clean and full of character,” say guest reviews. This is a private cottage annex to a historic 1830s home, set in grounds surrounded by tall trees. Watch red squirrels and birds through the big window in your kitchen-diner. Come home to a hot woodstove, bath with powerful overhead shower, fluffy towels, and a lodge-style bedroom with luxurious kingsize bed. You will enjoy complete seclusion and privacy while still being just a few minutes stroll to the town centre and the numerous shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and other facilities. Writer's Retreat in the heart of Perthshire

'The Howff' is a refurbished farm worker's bothy in a rural location with lots of walks and access to beautiful parts of Perthshire. One hour's drive from Edinburgh, 20 mins Dundee or Perth. This authentic bothy contains one room with single bed, wood burning stove, mini kitchen unit with fridge, oven, portable hob and kettle, separate shower room, wc, basin. Linen and towels included. Although small, The Howff is warm and cosy and makes a perfect retreat. Please note for ONE only.
