York is 20 miles away with countless tourist attractions and less than 10 minutes drive is the pretty market town of Helmsley with lots to explore. There is an abundance of great walks from your doorstep, excellent cycling routes and you will be spoilt for choice with fantastic cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Barn Owl Snug is tucked away in the pretty village of Boltby in the North York Moors National Park. The perfect space to recharge and have a relaxing break. The snug is self-contained. Downstairs is the living, dining and full kitchen area with a log burner for those cosy evenings. The Vicarage Annexe is a beautiful, one double-bedroom facility situated at the foot of the Cleveland Hills. The building was originally built as a prayer and study room for the Vicarage. This is now a self-contained living area with en-suite facilities. The Annexe is located in the picturesque village of Carlton-in-Cleveland, which is in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and this is an ideal location for a couple who enjoy the countryside for relaxing, sightseeing, walking or cycling.

Our converted barn offers a cosy, self-catering retreat for two with a woodfired hot tub, on our remote, but accessible farm in the North York Moors National Park. The Bothy is a self-contained, open space providing king sized bed, ensuite, kitchen, sitting area, outside terrace sun trap & free WiFi. The Bothy has been completed to an exceptionally high standard combining beautiful detailing and practicality. A great location for walking & cycling.

Come and stay in the beautiful village of Rosedale Abbey in the spectacular North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Moo’s is our converted stone cottage with a lovely living kitchen with cast iron stove and a vintage country feel. A handmade turned staircase leads up to the en-suite bedroom with metal bed stead and roll top bath. Adjacent there is a spacious covered patio area with seating, dining and storage, which looks across to an outdoor patio with fruit trees seating and parking space.

A cosy shepherds hut on a working hill farm, in the beautiful North York Moors National Park. Simply sit, relax, watch the birds and admire the view or explore the surrounding area. Walk from the hut or one of the local famous walks such as Cleveland Way, Wainstones, Roseberry Topping. Helmsley and Stokesley are lovely little market towns to explore or Whitby and York both within an hours drive. We only have one hut, so there is no sharing of facilities and the area is very private.

We are ideally located with easy access to the beautiful North York Moors National Park, James Herriot Country, Whitby and the spectacular North Yorkshire coastline.

Our Annex is a popular stop off for people walking the coast to coast. We are also very close to some great pubs and restaurants.
