It is a 10 minute walk from The Tarka Trail with traffic free cycling, walking and running alongside the river. The trail connects to the market town of Barnstaple and the village of Braunton with its surf shops and cafes. The Heanton Court Inn is within walking distance along the trail. Saunton Sands beach is only a 15 minute drive with its three and half miles of golden sands and surf.

The Stables is a refurbished annexe in a quiet residential area. You will have the whole property to yourselves with a private outdoor area and parking on site. The accommodation sleeps up to 3 people with a main double bedroom and small double sofa bed in the living room. Bideford town centre is a 15 minute walk, while the pretty villages of Instow and Appledore, and the resort of Westward Ho! with its famous pebble ridge and sandy beach are all a few minutes drive/bus trip.
