Set on the edge of a large, glorious lake, the cottage is a tranquil retreat at all times of year. In private grounds of 18 acres and surrounded by woods and wildlife, the cottage dates from 1798 but has recently been beautifully extended. The wood burner makes it a cosy and romantic getaway. London is only one hour away .

There's a walk-in rain shower and robes, books, DVDs, games, WiFi and a Smart TV. Tear yourself away to explore forests, gardens, vineyards, castles, and National Trust houses.

Old Smock Mill is a romantic place for couples. The atmosphere inside is peaceful and relaxing. Everything is designed to unwind you from the moment you walk in. Set in a picturesque village with miles of country walks, this detached Summer House is located just a few minutes walk from the village centre where you will find a local pub, tea room, village store and Italian delicatessen . From its position you will enjoy beautiful views of rolling countryside and access to walks on your doorstep, as well as several National Trust places like Sissinghurst and Scotney Castle close by.
