Cwt Glo eco cottage Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)/ Zip World

Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Arosfa, cosy caravan on the doorstep of Snowdonia

Arosfa is a comfortable cosy caravan situated within the grounds of Bryn Llys. It offers a tranquil setting with ten acres of gardens, lake and woodland, the perfect place to relax after exploring the surrounding area. Close to the border of Snowdonia National park, Arosfa is a 10 min walk to local amenities in the village of Bethesda and short walk from world famous Zip World. Arosfa is also situated on the famous Snowdonia Slate trail and an ideal stop for those walking the 83 mile circuit.

The Bunkhouse is located in a quiet hamlet and has a separate entrance keeping it completely private. It overlooks a meadow and the river Ogwen. A stone building now renovated and equipped to provide comfortable accommodation for two people. Bunk beds - linen - en-suite -towels -TV - Tea & Coffee. A fridge is available in a nearby outhouse. Well placed to discover Snowdonia, nearby hills, mountains, cycle paths, walks and climbs, and also ZipWorld Velocity 2 which is only a short walk away.

It is a stones throw away from the famous 'Zipworld' (15 min walk) as well as the Glyderau mountain range(10 / 25 min ), and a short drive from Snowdon (15 min). Perfect location to experience Snowdonia.

The cottage is on the bank of the Caseg river and surrounded by a quiet garden, providing an excellent retreat, while only 5 minutes walk from the amenities of the local village Bethesda. Take a local walk in the Ogwen valley, to Zip World or access climbing, walking, mountain biking and kayaking activities in Snowdonia directly from the cottage. A relaxing evening soak in the hot tub can be recommended.

The house is within walking distance of the village, 5 minutes from the Zip wire and 20 minutes from Anglesey and Snowdon. When you are finsihed for the day, cozy up next to the fire and enjoy our cottage with our welcome.

'The Hayloft' - a peaceful rural retreat for two

Set beside the apple orchard at The Old Sheep Farm in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), The Hayloft is a dog-friendly, one-bedroom crog-loft hideaway a short drive from the coast. Exposed beams, a wood-burner and a freestanding roll-top bath give the cottage a warm, settled feel, while stunning views stretch across the hills towards the sea. A calm, characterful and luxurious place for slow mornings, long walks and unhurried stays.

A comfortable, characterful barn close to the mountains, coast and Zipworld (5 min drive). Situated at the edge of Snowdonia, Ysgubor y Gelli is the perfect base to explore North Wales. We accept well behaved dogs and have an EV charger. 5 minutes from the A55 but set in beautiful countryside, the barn has wifi, smart TV and is a quick stoll to the local pub. Beds can be made up as twin, double or triple.
