Rust en Vrede Stone Cottages

Rust en Vrede means rest and peace in Afrikaans which describes the experience of staying in these these two stone cottages. They are 20m apart and are ONLY offered as a pair, and have exclusive use of a rock pool. Each cottage has two 3/4 beds, bathroom, kitchenette and patio. The pair of cottages accommodate a MAX of 4 people in TOTAL in a private setting, with expansive views. These new cottages are in the same format as the other four on the farm which have received hundreds of 5* reviews.

Obiekwa Country House is located in the picturesque, quaint village of Riebeek Kasteel; with its wine estates and gourmet restaurants. It is set in a quiet cul-de-sac and overlooking an adjoining vineyard. Although it is set in peaceful, rural surroundings, It is a fifteen minute walk to the village square. Our goal is to have you as close to nature as possible, while having luxury to enjoy the experience. We offer a 2 bedroom container cabin and one large bathroom overlooking fynbos nature. The lounge area connected to a small kitchen extends over a deck that's equipped with a covered braai and dinning area. The main deck extend to the woodfire hot-tub and a deck-hammock to make sure you engage with the stars. A high profile / high clearance vehicle is required - (SUV / Crossover / Bakkie).

Our little loft suite is nestled in a treelined garden above the garage. The gravel road in front of our property adds to the rural atmosphere guests will experience in the quaint village of Riebeek Kasteel. Our resident pet chickens may just produce a freerange egg for our visitors!! The Theron family are well traveled and love to welcome visitors to our home. We encourage you to engage with us and our animals or just relax among the trees!!
