Stedet er et ideelt utgangspunkt for fjellturer, for å utforske Bergen og fjordene, eller kun nyte fred og ro og fjordutsikt på Norges største innlandsøy. Flåm, Voss, Hardanger og Trolltunga er i dagsturavstand.
