Escape the City- Vermont Studio

Our studio apartment is located minutes from Bennington College, and sits on 7 acres of land in the Grn. Mtn. National Forest. It's on the second floor of our home (above the garage) through a private entrance with a personal deck and outdoor seating. Take an afternoon stroll to the Mile Around Woods, or day hike to the white rocks! Walk the Ninja trail from the college to see the historic covered bridges, or drive 20-30 miles N to enjoy Vermont's best skiing, and shopping at designer outlets!

New Cabin in Jamaica

Recently constructed 500sq ft passive solar cabin, 10 minutes to Stratton Mtn., 20 minutes to Mt. Snow and Dover for skiing, shopping, food, or a beer at Snow Republic. Quiet road but very accessible. Perfect area for hiking, biking, relaxing walks along the Ball Mountain Brook or kayaking on Grout Pond or Gale Meadows. Enjoy a campfire in the side yard/former pony corral or relax on the spacious screened in porch. 30 minutes from seasonal farmers market and from Manchester for outlets.

The Farm cottage

Take a break and unwind at this little peaceful oasis. A little bit of the country is right beside you with the neighing of horses and the clucking of chickens who roam our property. We are close to Bennington College and great restaurants and Robert Frost house. We are 35 minutes from Manchester that has some great restaurants and shopping. Bromley ski resort is just beyond Manchester in Peru Vermont . It is a year around resort with water slides in summer and skiing in winter .

Enjoy a peaceful and private space with 1 bedroom, 1 bath, full kitchen and on site parking. Last house on a dead end rd. 5 min from Southwestern VT Medical Center. 40 min from Mount Snow. 25 min from MassMoca. 15 min walk to Main St where you can enjoy great food and shops. No smoking on premises. Please note there is stairs separating the bedroom (downstairs) and living area, bathroom, and kitchen (upstairs). The stairs are steep and may be difficult for some people.

Off street parking, free WiFi and breakfast included. My home is a quick 5 min walk to Emma Willard School, 1.5 miles to RPI, and 2 miles to Russell Sage College. Built in 1865, the original structure of the house served as the gate house to the Colgate Estate, one of the most beautiful properties in Southwestern Vermont. This beautiful retreat is halfway between the ski slopes of southern Vermont and the cultural centers of Williamstown and North Adams, MA. The residence is a modern, spacious, basement apartment, part of an 1860 farm house. It has its own private entrance around the back of the house at ground level. Solar garden lights and motion detector lighting will illuminate your path to the apartment.

It has three walls of windows that display the amazing views. The house is surrounded by Mount Anthony hiking trails and a gorgeous pond. The location is a 5 minute drive to town or a lovely 20 minute walk.
