Perfect for a couples or single stay away. Cambridge is a 30 minute drive, and London by direct train in less than an hour, so perfect if you want to visit either - or both - of these cities in a weekend.

The Woodland Cabin with Private Hot Tub Spa

Step into a world of peace and privacy in a secluded cabin. The perfect setting for romance, relaxation and a touch of luxury. Soak under the stars in the private hot tub, cozy up by the wood burner, the scent of countryside air and the sound of birdsong. With a comfy double bed, fitted bathroom, kitchenette, gas BBQ. Surrounded by scenic walking trails, charming pubs, and nearby heritage spots, this is the perfect romantic retreat to slow down, reconnect, and create unforgettable memories.

The Byre at Cold Christmas

Escape to the country and stay in a cosy converted barn with a log burning stove and a secluded sunny patio area with outdoor dining and barbeque. Positioned in the beautiful countryside near Ware town, Cold Christmas has an abundance of lovely walks and is conveniently situated close to Hanbury Manor and Fanhams Hall, both of which offer a variety of amenities including a golf course, health spa and fine dining. Maltons, one of the area's finest restaurants is just at the end of the lane.

Badgers Croft - Sharnbrook A unique country escape

Badgers Croft is a pretty stone built cottage set apart from the main house. It comes complete with off road parking, its own seated gravelled area and private fern garden. The self contained cottage comprises of a bathroom, kitchen and lounge area to seat four people comfortably and a log burning stove to keep you cosy at night. A bedroom with double bed and also a mezzanine area that can sleep a further two people who can sleep looking out at the stars above through the roof light.

Trinity: luxury lodge in a stunning, lake location

At Cambridgeshire Lakes, we believe that your holiday should start from the moment you drive down our rural, tree-lined track and into the serenity of our stunning lakeside location. The lodge provides a stylish and comfortable accommodation for couples or groups of four people. The vaulted living area includes a large dining table, two comfy sofas surrounding the wood burner and a large flat screen Smart TV. We currently have four lodges available on the site (sleeping 16 in total).

It is the perfect place to relax with cosy lounge, wood burning stove, bespoke kitchen & underfloor heating. Upstairs features a super-king sized bed, seating area, luxury wet-room with underfloor heating, balcony and Jacuzzi.

A great place for special occasions, and make the most of your Sunday with our Lazy Sunday check-out time of 4pm.

The White Cottage Romantic Riverside Retreat

Grade 2 listed Tudor cottage with amazing inglenook fireplace. Large riverside garden (previously featured in the NGS) plus use of a hot tub, for an additional charge, in grounds. Ideal for longer stays with excellent commuter links for London, Harpenden, St Albans and Stevenage. Relax and enjoy footpath walks, including the Ayot Green Way, to gastro pubs. Charming annexe nr Bedford & Sandy: superking/twin

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Charming and peaceful village location. Self catering annexe, perfect for one or two people. Adjoining, yet separate to the main house, the Pavilion is so-called as the garden was once the village bowling green. Delightful views of National Trust Tudor dovecote and stables. A perfect base for riverside walks, cycling and water sports. Mainline train stations Bedford and Sandy are 15 minutes drive away.

Relaxing rural property, amazing decor!

The Hayloft is a beautiful property with a stunning interior. A truly rural escape, but still close to historic Cambridge. Local walks and lovely views. Watch the sun set from the comfort of a large Chesterfield sofa through a large picture window while the open fire crackles! Great English pub AND authentic Italian restaurant in the village both within walking distance. Sumptuous bedding, freestanding bath, open fire and beautiful decor!
