Kendal is an attractive market town with an eclectic range of shops, cafes, restaurants. There is a designated parking space for one vehicle beside the hut Bikes can be secured in the log shelter.

Woven into the Victorian fabric of the Yorkshire Dales, The Cosy Corner which is situated on the first floor above a corner shop has a great vantage point to take in the views. It makes the perfect place for a break, just at the end of Main Street - so within a few strides of the local shops, some great eateries, pubs and of course, the foot of Winder hill.
